How Ortivo works

1. Sign into Ortivo

Your Ortivo account is separate from your AI provider accounts. Google sign-in, when configured, authenticates you to Ortivo only.

2. Connect your own API keys

Create a dedicated key in an OpenAI, Anthropic or Google API billing account. Ordinary chat subscriptions do not supply API usage here. Set provider budgets or alerts before connecting. Read the connection consent before saving a key.

3. Choose your models

Ortivo lists available text models from each connected account. Some models may require extra provider permissions or may not support this text-only workflow. Provider access and prices can change.

4. Ask or compare

Select one or more providers. Comparing sends a separate request to each selected provider, which may bill you. Each provider receives the question and its own previous conversation context. Answers are displayed as text, without running generated code or HTML.

Private by default

Conversation saving is off by default. Unsaved conversations stay in page memory and pass through the server to selected providers. They disappear from the workspace when you leave the page. Providers and infrastructure may have their own retention policies.

Optional saved history

Choose encrypted saved history if you want to return to a conversation. You can export or delete saved conversations. Exports are readable files, so keep them private.

Usage and limitations

This pilot supports text chat and comparison. It does not provide live web search, attachments, image generation or a guarantee of accurate answers. The workspace applies a limit of 100 provider requests per account per UTC day, 20 exchanges per conversation and 2,048 output tokens per request. These controls are not a dollar spending cap. Longer context increases costs. Requests are never automatically retried.

Pricing

The initial Ortivo pilot has no workspace membership charge. Provider API charges remain your responsibility. Any future paid membership requires separate clear pricing and consent.
