Privacy and your information

This page describes the Ortivo software defaults. The operator must publish its identity, support contact, hosting location, backup retention and applicable privacy rights before opening public registration.

Information used

Ortivo uses your WordPress account details to identify your workspace. If Google sign-in is configured, the login integration handles the information described on its consent screen.

API connections

Keys you choose to save are encrypted in the database using a separate server configuration key. The server decrypts a key to call the corresponding provider. Keys are not returned in API responses, included in conversation exports, or stored in browser local storage by Ortivo. This is not end-to-end encryption: operators with sufficient server access may be able to decrypt data.

Your questions and answers

Saving is off by default. Unsaved conversation content is held in page memory and processed in server memory for provider requests. If you enable saving, messages are encrypted in the WordPress database. Selected providers receive your question and their own conversation context under their own data policies. Multiple selections send information to multiple providers.

Tracking

The Ortivo plugin and theme add no advertising, analytics, external fonts or third-party tracking scripts. WordPress login cookies are used. Hosting, security or other plugins may collect access logs; the operator must disclose its actual configuration.

Deletion and export

You can disconnect provider keys and export or delete saved conversations. Disconnecting does not revoke a key at its provider. Contact your account administrator for account erasure. Encrypted backups may retain deleted records until expiry; data already processed by providers is subject to their policies.

Safe use

Do not submit passwords, payment details, identity documents or sensitive information you are not authorised to share. Use dedicated, restricted API keys and review provider usage. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
